Start where you actually are.

I’m Dr. Jeremy Reichert. For fourteen years I’ve spent time with people who are working through anxiety, trauma, addiction, and the harder turns life takes. I see adults and couples across Colorado, entirely online.

Why Apex

Not a peak to reach. The capacity to hold height.

A brain folds for the same reason a mountain range does. Where the name came from, and what it has to do with the work.

The Work Adults and couples · Colorado

Most of it is ordinary therapy for ordinary difficulty.

People land on therapy websites and read a list of specialties as though it were a set of entry requirements. It isn’t. Most weeks are spent on the plain, unglamorous business of a person feeling worse than they want to feel, and wanting to do something about it.

If what you are dealing with is on this page, good. If it isn’t, call anyway. The list below is what comes up, not what is allowed.

  • Obsessive and looping thoughts
  • Sleep that stopped working

A handful of these come up often enough that I have written about them at length, and there is a page on how the work actually goes. See the work in full

Dr. Jeremy Reichert

Fourteen years, most of them spent with people in the middle of the hardest thing they have been through. I work from the evidence: CBT, REBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR for trauma, alongside attachment and psychodynamic work. Then I fit the method to the person rather than the other way around.

Treatment here is informed by neuroscience, by how the brain and emotions and relationships actually shape what you think and do. But none of that matters much without the other part, which is a relationship built on trust and plain speech.

I’m also willing to sit with the questions a lot of clinicians steer around. Meaning, faith, doubt, what any of it was for. That’s there if you want it, and completely absent if you don’t.
